Hi Gurus,
Is it possible to buy from lenovo an unlocked 3G Mobile Broadband data card for T400s TP?
Is it Qualcomm GOBI Mobile BroadBand Option an unlocked card I can use with any 3G/GSM service provider, globally?
Are there any performace differences between AT&T's, Verizon's and Qualcomm?
BR.

All the cards Lenovo puts into currently shipping models have unlocked cards.
The Qualcomm GOBI card can do either Verizon EV-DO or 3G.
The Ericcson card is 3G only.

Is this still true all Gobi cards ship unlocked? I am going to purchase a T400s and I noticed that the Gobi cards are different prices for different carriers thus I am suspicious that they are getting locked now.

Hi g27c,
Did you purchase your T400s with the Gobi card? was it locked or unlocked?
Thanks in advance.
