Upgraded from Professional to Ultimate - Lost all Features

Hello,

I upgraded my Lenovo thinkpad T400 from Windows 7 professional To windows 7 Ultimate.

I lost all the features, Do I need install them manually ? I tried to do so, but I am not able to see my "Volume Bar".

When I increase system sound using volume controls, its controlling the VLC  Media player sound.

Do this have any solution?

Please let me know if there is any solution with which I can switch back to Windows 7 Professional with all features loaded.

Hi pramodgarlapati,

In my view, upgrading is risky as things like what you have experienced are sure to happen, that's why I always do clean install.

To get your volume bar back you would need to install hotkey driver:- http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-74261

I would make sure that I have Power Manager from lenovo before installing hotkey.
