Video Driver issues with my T500

Hello,

I recent purchased a ThinkPad T500 (Model# 2055-CTO). The system came with vista, but I redid it with XP using the factory restore disks from Lenovo. Everything is fine except that spots appear on my screen. I can especially see it on my web browser and when I use word or excell.  Somethings it's just a few row of spots and then sometimes it's half the screen.  But when I move my mouse over them, they disappear. I have the latest video driver from the Lenovo website. Does anyone know why this is happening? Does it have something to do with the refresh rate?
