Where do i get my windows product key from

I just purchased a new lenovo t410 in the UK.  I have received but i needed to reinstall windows on it as I want to partition the disk so i can dual boot to ubuntu as well.  However i never received a windows product key with my purhase.

When i bought a dell the product key was stuck to the bottom of the latop.

It's always sticked on the bottom. First of all, ensure if that model comes with original Windows presintalled.

the new Thinkpads T410 have the sticker under the battery compartment. Probably to solve the issue of serial number fading, which is common with the vista stickers, which does not use the plastic cover up like on the XP stickers.
