I'm starting get frustrated with how Lenovo deals with their customer.
I purchased my T410 back in June 2010 and it has been in and out of service depot since.
The first was BSOD, overheating, constant freezing, and currently it is in service depot for a bright spot on the screen and the keyboard warping (possible due to the previous heat problem).
I spoke to 'Earl_L' via chat and explained my problems hoping to get a replacement system or the refund, and his response was "get a new system".
Then I said "what should I do with the one in service depot?"
His reposnse was "sell it."
what kind of **bleep**ing customer service is that?
I already purchased 3 thinkpads this year and this is how they treat their customer.

I remember another guy in the forums who was also frustrated and managed to take his money back - when asked how he managed that he answered "I have my way"
take a look :

My repair is on hold because Lenovo thinks somehow I magically created the bright spot on the screen and they are saying it is not covered under their warranty.
I was so distracted by my T410 constantly freezing and over heating, I didn't notice it till after my 2nd repair.
After 3rd repair, I'm seriously considering to purchase Macbook Pro 13 and dump my T410.
I would pay premium for it but I think it would be worth it, at least the customer service wise.
And I'll definitely make sure no one from my school (over 30,000 students) buy anything from Lenovo.

titan,
could you please tell me how your issue was resolved and how your experience was after james was involved.
i have an issue regarding my own brand-new T410 (webcam and usb composite device) that i am weary of sending
to lenovo for repair.
sad that the majority of the recent warranty or service i've read most have been very negative.
thanks.

You just sent him a note yesterday, and it is the weekend.
