I guess I need to have a little more patience. It took about 20 minutes to get into Windows. As previously suggested in this thread, I checked my AMT version (current was 4.0.3) ... it was out of date. I updated to 4.2.?? and all seems to be well. Thanks for the suggestion!!

This worked for me.
I had a 10 minute delay before anything happened when turning on the laptop, I updated the BIOS, and the AMT ME firmware, et voila!

Just some feedback for future lurkers.
Problem: Laptop would take 10-15 minutes to bootup. Machine would look dead with only indicator lights on.
Solution: Updating the Intel AMT 4.2 worked for me.
I had to update the Intel LMS before AMT. I was also getting an error message when updating AMT following the instructions. I got past this issue by locating the MEUPDATE.CMD file and run it as administrator. My X200 works now.
Initial BIOS: 3.17
New BIOS: 3.20
OS: Windows 7
Laptop: X200 7454

Wow, this issue has been killing me the last two days, Found this thread halfway through but still haven't been able to resolve this.
I see that updating to Intel AMT 4.2 is the solution
BUT
I am having problems getting LMS to start.
And the Intel Management Engine Interfece driver in Device Manage can't start, error is "This device cannot start (Code 10)"
And the Intel Active Management Technology - SOL (Com4) in Device Manage has the error "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43).
What am I missing? Please help!

Have the most current BIOS, 3.22 (3.23?), I'd double-check but it would cost me a 10-minute boot which I've experienced doezens of times by now...
Win7 64-bit
8GB RAM
Read somewhere that I need to change the ME driver to 64-bit but no explanation on how to do so...
Thanks in advance...
