Recently i had a chance to work on T410s and i fell in love with it,
and I had a idea about slight improvement of keyboard illumination,
would it be possible to implement letters engraving on the keyboard
in a blacklight ink, and modify the thinklight LED to have UV light
component.
the results, i think, will be obvious.

UV light? health hazard is one reason why you would see it implemented. I think what you want is a fluorescent lettering on the key.

you have a good point,
however, amount of UV light would be way less than what we are getting under the sun,
so i think the idea is still viable.

a focused source of UV light is not a good idea. Most company would not even use Thinkpad if there is a focused UV source. I couldn't imagine the sort of legal culpriability that Lenovo would expose itself to if it did put an UV light in the Thinklight.

i agree with you, if ppl can not handle hot coffee, anything remotely dangerous would result in a legal issues.
than i will leave that for individual modders...

My keys illuminate quite well with the current ink.
