CDs for DowngradingT60 to windows XP [ Edited ]

A while ago I ordered the CDs to downgrade my T60 laptop from Vista to XP, but then went through a period of not using the laptop much, and not getting around to performing the downgrade.  Now I'm ready to do this...but I am missing the instructions.  Here's the part that is confusing me:

I have a set of six "product recovery CDs" with product numbers 43T8619, 43T8620, etc.

I also have something called a "rescue and recovery CD" (a single CD) with product number 43E0845.

I'm guessing the product recovery CD set contains the downgrade operating system.  But what is the "rescue and recovery CD" for?  Do I need to use that in the downgrade process?  Or is that related to the vista operating system?

Insert and use the single cd "rescue and recovery" first. This will make a bootable environment for the xp version of said software. Then follow onscreen instructions for your other six cds.

I have the 6 CD's not no "rescue and recovery" CD ?

Call up Lenovo in Italy and purchase the XP pro recovery discs from them.
