Hi,
From some reason, while I'm trying to hibernate my T61. nothing happend (in most cases).
I am trying to hibernate it using the keyboard shortcut (F+F4) or using the start menu (Start->Shut Down-Hibernate), but nothing happend in most cases.
What should I do?

Hi,
Does anyone knows why I can't (in most cases) Hibernate with my T61?

Hi urielp,
Does it fail to hibernate everytime or just sometimes? When it fails do you see anything in the windows event log that says "something prevent the computer from entering standby/hibernate"? Sometimes the eventlog will show you what is preventing the computer from going into standby/hibernate. Also Fn-F4 is by default standby and not hibernate. Fn-F12 is by default hibernate, but both can be customized.
It could also be useful to know what OS you use and if if you installed some new software, updates or attached some new hardware when this problem started.
You could also try to update the drivers for your computer. System update should make it easy to find new drivers and choose what drivers you want to update. Version 3.14 is for XP/Vista and 4.0 is for Windows 7.
