Cloning T43 hard drives for use in other T43 machines

As opposed to using IBM Rescue/Restore CD's to install Win XP/Thinkpad OEM on bear replacement hard drives for refurbished T43's I've started using Apricorns Universal Hard Drive Adaptor/EZ Gig IV Cloning Software to clone existing T43 HD's to the new replacements. While I haven't had any problems I just want to be sure I'm not violating any IBM/Lenovo/Microsoft licensing agreements in doing so?

I've had no problems registering any of the machines with Lenovo or Microsoft.

The only "difficulties" I've encountered has been in the need to install different drivers for the various T43 types and Thinkpad System Update works well for this.

Your thoughts are appreciated !

As long as the refurbished machines that runs the cloned hdd have their own individual OS authenticity stickers that matches the OS on the hdd, then you should have no problem.
