Help with Private Disk

I have Just rebuilt my Thinkpad and have run all of the updates but when I try and mount my Private Disk I can't seem to find the software it came preinstalled with the system and I have a bunch of imporant files in there but I can't find the software to mount it, I have the .vol file and a backup copy of it but they are useless without the software. 

Please Help.

this requires a "pre-install" - i am a bit weary about this and was wondering

if someone can tell me what the deal is with that ????
