Hello,
I have a 14 Inch 4:3 Thinkpad T60 (1952-CT0).
Currently It has
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo CPU T2400 @ 1.83Ghz
Installed Ram: 3GB
32 Bit Operating System.
I love absolutly everything about the Thinkpad T60 but the system specs arnt very usable.
Im looking for every possible way to upgrade my thinkpad so i can run high graphics applications.
I heard i would have to swap the motherboard, which motherboards would be compatable?
I have looked into the DIY VIDOCK as a last option, if nothing else works.
Thanks for your assistence.

Hi,
I sent you some more info in a private message, but as my good friend Lead_Org said, the ATI FireGL is the best graphics you can install. As for Ram, you're as high as you can go. You can upgrade to a 64bit OS, but you'll need to install a Core2 cpu. Since you'll still be limited to 3gb of ram (chipset limitation), there isn't much point in going 64bit, but a better board and faster chip would be ideal.

Oh Alright, Thank you for you assistance.
I'm fine with the limited graphics as il probably go with the VIDock idea.
Where would i be able to buy a better board/chip?
