T61 and prior T series ThinkPad Laptops

I have a new t61p and I absolutely love it. I have also added a WWAN card and WWAN antennas for it. I believe Lenovo made the correct design decision in choosing materials that would be not shield that rather complex antenna array.

I run Vista Ultimate with lots of installed software including SQL Server. My boot time, cold start to all icons showing in the taskbar is less than one minute.

I think you have a problem with your hardware, maybe your hardrive or your ram memory is not working well, I have a T61p and it works very good...  The problem is not the design.
