My laptop's LCD is cracked so I was taking the whole LCD panel off the laptop and noticed that the short white wire coming from the LCD was unplugged. I could not find where the connection for that white wire was. Any clue on where that wire should be popped into?
Aside from that, when I properly shut down my laptop for awhile and reboot it, I get an error message to check the date and time on the system. I'm brought to the BOIS menu following that message and the date and time is reset. But this doesn't happen when I press and hold the power button to force the system to shut down. Why is this? How do I fix it?

The white wire is the bluetooth antenna. Many T4x units have them even if they were not factory-equipped with BT, since it's a very simple upgrade. It goes under your modem card if you don't have BT/modem card.
As for date and time error, you need a new CMOS battery.
