Keeps on Going into Standby Mode

My T61 from time to time will go into standby mode, on its own, sometimes while I am in the middle of typing something.  The power management options are set never to go into standby while on power (not that this is relevant considering it's not even idle when it happens!).

I did uninstall Power Manager and Power Management and reinstall, and this fixed the problem for a while, then I had to get a new disk, and it started happening with the new disk/installation too.  Unfortunately this time reinstalling Power Manager and Power Management did NOT fix the issue.

Any ideas?

I have been having the exact same problem.  I have isolated the problem to power management driver versions after 1.43.  (1.60 causes the behavior repeatably.)  Any updates from Lenovo?

download TPfancontrol and check the CPU and GPU temperature.
