hey i think i figured it out i tested it with my dads laptop speakers they providided the same output but the number went 1-50 on his and 1-14 on mine so i just need to make my volume increments more precise anybody help PLS


My TPs: T500 2055-A77: P8600, ATI Radeon 3650, Windows 8 Pro x64, 4GB RAM, 240GB OCZ Agility 3 SSD , Ultrabay 100GB Hard Drive, Intel 5300, 1680x1050,BT 2.1, 8GB SD ReadyBoost(converted to bootable Ubuntu drive for recovery), WWAN Sierra 5720 from X60(s) Dell E173FP connected w/ VGA
T61 7665-D61: T7300, NVS140M, 1440x900, Windows 7 Pro x64, 4GB RAM, 100GB Hard Drive, Ultrabay 80GB Hard Drive, Intel 4695, BT 2.1 (dead&scrapped for parts)
T60 1953-D9U: T2300,Intel Integrated GMA945, 1024x768, Windows 8 Pro, 120GB Hard Drive,Intel 3945, 3GB RAM (only 2.5 usable)

It's just how the T60 is intended to work.

You could try the Sound icon in the systray though.

this is how it is on the T60, it is not a hardware or software fault.
