Lenovo T61, Windows XPPro sp3.Volume Icon on TaskBar vanished.&Games folder gone.

  I had a problem with having to delete an add on, and the result is I have lost Volume icon on taskbar & there is no sign of it left on the T61, my efforts lead me to the answer, to reinstate from CD which is lost, also my Games folder ended up empty & is there anyway lenovo can help me download them again online as its an old version with Checkers,Backgammon & about 5-6 others in it. I would really like to get the same Games back & just go the long way around to sort out the Volume, Any idea's and/or help will be gratefully accepted, thanking you,yours sincerely,liamo

On the volume icon issue, reinstalling the device drivers for the audio adapter should make it reappear.  They can be found on Lenovo's support web site at http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?LegacyDocID=migr-67816.

For the issue with the Games folder, you might want to first check with the developer of the add-on you installed and see if they can recommend steps to repair the damage caused by uninstalling it.
