It sounds to me that if you paid $200 to get the keyboard replaced, that fee probably included diagnosis and repair, so in that case they should have properly identified the damaged motherboard. 

 

I think the only proper thing for them to do is either...

 

1. Repair it

2. Issue a revised estimate for a keyboard and motherboard and give you the option to decline and get a refund for the incomplete repairs

 

Of course this is just my opinion and I don't have all the facts.
