Not able to select anything on the mouse context menu (right button) on internet explorer in Vista

Hello,

 

The thinkpad is T61 with machine type/model of 6459-CTO. It has Windows Vista Business SP1 and the Bluetooth Laser Mouse.

 

If I use internet explorer and click on the right button, I see the context menu with "Back, ...." items. However, I am not able to highligh and select any item on the context menu. I can do so with Firefox. The mouse is working fine for anything else.

 

Any hint is appreciated.
