PLEASE HELP! T61 suddenly won't connect to the internet

Thanks for your help.  

I haven't checked any other free wifi locations.  As I said, I did try it in another person's home this past week with the correct password & it wouldn't connect. 

I tried calling Lenovo to get the names of authorized repair locations in my area and was shocked by the way I was treated. 

Oh well, I'll just take it to a local computer repair shop who will check the wifi card for free. Then I'll know if I need a new card or a new router.

is the linksys wrt54g a router? if so update all your internet drivers. is it the laptop's problem or the router's problem. If it is the router go to Linksys forums if they have one.

Sorry disregard my first post. You might want to try updating your router (Firmware and everything)
