Possible to replace nvidia nvs140m motherboard with intel graphics motherboard on a T61?

Hi!

This is the third time I've got issues with my T61 during the past half year; garbled display, flickering, looping audio, BSODs, nothing on the screen, GPU overheating like crazy etc. I'm guessing it's the defective nvidia doing it.

 

Kinda tired of this. So I was wondering if it is possible to replace the nvidia motherboard with an intel one?

 

If it's possible, I'm considering calling support and let them replace it.

T7300(2GHz), 2GB RAM, 120GB 5400rpm HD, 14.1in 1440x900 LCD, 128MB nVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11agn, Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, 4c Li-Ion, WinVista Business

You'll have to do it yourself, since support services are not allowed to alter the machine's original configuration.
