Hi!
Yesterday I got my new notebook, a Lenovo ThinkPad T61.
After installing Windows XP Professional and Service Pack 2, I've tried to install the Fingerprint Software and Driver.
Everythink installed just fine, but I can't select the first two Options in the ThinkVantage Fingerprint Software.
"Fingerabdrücke" (Fingerprints) and "Einstellungen" (Settings) are not accessible. The only menu item I can click is the Tutorial, then the tutorial will start. When I move the cursor over the Tutorial, the text turns light blue, on the two other entries it doesn't. So I'm not able to change any settings or enroll any fingerprints. Enrolling fingerprints is only possible by executing enrollbtn.exe and then I can add my fingerprints as usual. And I can use them for the CSS lateron. But I can't set any fingerprint for my windows Logon, because I can't access the menu for that.
I've tried to reinstall the Software, using an older Version,... The sensor itself works quite fine.
Im running Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2, .NET 3.0 and v5.8.4 of the fingerprint software.
I've got this sensor and I want to use it.
Edit: Okay, through CSS I was able to set a fingerprint for windows logon, but the settings of the Fingerprint Software are still disabled
Thank you in advance for your help,
Greeting from Germany,
Sebastian
