I need help on how to get baCK THE ibm ACCESS on the harddisk.

I have changed a new harddisk but did not have a copy of the window xp

except the product key.

Now I could not even get into IBM access to do anything.

If you have extra laptop of desktop or usb external HD or memory disk, plug in the old HD and use ghost backup your old system on the external data storage. Then plug in your new HD and restore the system.

Sorry, I can't do that as the old harddisk could not be boot at all (faulty).

Any other ways.

It might be too late because of the model, but you can contact Lenovo to get a copy of the Recovery Disks.  They are typically $45, but if the hard drive was faulty, and was still under warranty, they might be able to send them to you for free.

My computer was left on a few days ago. A T-61. I went in to get it and the screen had an error message that said something along the lines of "ERROR no hard drive found".

I attempted to reboot it and it comes up with the same error. I used the BIOs menu to try to reboot from a recovery disk and it says No hard drive found. I have reseated it. Is this hard drive recoverable or do I need to just throw it away and get another one and start from scratch?
