Screen Flicker after Sleep

My screen flickers to the point where it renders the notebook computer useless after it returns from a sleep/lockout mode.  Syop has admin control running XP PRO and it lock out after 15 minutes of inactivity requiring UN&P to continue. Sometimes the screen is even flickering in the UN&P screen prior to logging in.

It almost seems like it is switching back and forth between two graphic modes.
