Screen going black on T42

[ Edited ]

My T42 has started going black as if in standby but it is not. I replaced the AC adaptor because it did not do it while on battery but now it is doing it on battery too. Any suggestions as to what the problem is. I am running Windows XP Pro.

Re: Screen going black on T42

Welcome to the forum!

Can you please run PC-doctor on all components of your system, especially video adapter, and also post the full 7-character model number (237?-???) of your T42?

Good luck and let us know.

Cheers,

George
