you cannot configure a T61 with a spanish keyboard but you can purchase the keyboard separately.
call IBM maintenance parts at 800-388-7080 (options 2:1:1) and ask for a price quote on one of the three following FRU numbers (all of which are spanish-layout keyboards):
42T3216 (alps)
42T3280 (chicony)
42T3150 (NMB)
if you prefer the "latin american spanish" layout then you'll need one of the following three numbers:
42T3238 (alps)
42T3302 (chicony)
42T3172 (NMB)
you'll need to do some homework on the two types of spanish layouts if you don't already know the differences between them. regarding brands, most people prefer NMB and alps over chicony.
once you request a quote then you will receive an email with the price(s). you'll then have to call the maintenance parts department back to place your order. keyboards typically arrive at IBM within a week and ship to you via overnight or 2-day DHL. prices usually range from $90 to $120 depending on the model, shipping is $12.50 or $13.50, and tax will be applied to your order.
