Hi Calabrache,

thanks for the hint about creating a recovery CD!

I had exepected that to be a function inside of R&R. But that was wrong. As your link points out, it is a program all of its own that you can start via Start->ThinkVantage->Create Recovery Media.

I did that and now I have a set of recovery CD/DVDs - and a little more peace of mind :-)

Have you succeeded cloning your original HDD to the WD scorpio black ?
