T 61 dead No bios get /post msg after bios upgrade /no screen

hello  all , i  have  a  problem  i  had a  issue few days ago  download  bios update tools from  lenovo  site and  click  on (from laptop not bootable cd)  upgrade  when  i launch  program  it   got  hang  and  i  even  did  not  click  on  yes i  agree  for  upgrade  and  closed  that from task managed with  end task  as it  was  hanged  so  after   restart  laptop  there  no   boot  no  screen no beep  only power  ligts  on  and  when i  try  to  put  bios  bootable cd or any bootable cd it does not  get anything  just  cd rom  is  runing   but  nothing  get  or post  please help  me if  bios  corrupted  or dead what should i do  or  are there any  way to replace  bios chip etc i live in country  side  so  no  lenovo  support  here  thanks in  advance

You cannot replace the BIOS chip. It is tied to other things on the board. You would not be able to boot and you would get 4 sets of 4 beeps. (security chip error). You might try unplugging the machine, removing the battery and pressing the power button 10 times. Hold the button for 5 seconds the last time you press it. What is the character tupe (like 7663-w22)?

hi thanks for your reply but these action does not work for me i did  try as you said   and there  are no beep  or any  thing  on  screen  just  power light  is  on   and  nothing else  could  you  help   me to  further what  could be issue ?thanks

have you tried to remove the cmos battery under the keyboard for 5 minutes and then reattach it back?

hi lead_org thanks for your reply   yes mate   i  did   it  also  did  try  to   remove  both  ram's and one by one  if i  take off  ram  then try to  start   it  give few beeps   but  if  put  ram back  and start   then nothing  coming  just  power  lights on and  cd rom is running  if i put any  cd  etc but  nothing  on  screen  like get or post  msg  for bios setting   etc
