T43 and Windows 7. USB devices are lost after resume from sleep.

Greetings, ye mighty all

I have T43 (2668-75G) with Windows 7 Ultimate.

I noticed that in recent couple of months it started losing USB devices after returining from Sleep/Hibernate modes.

Namely:

1) Fingerprint reader

2) External keyboard and mouse (when I use the docking station, external USB keyboar and mouse are not recognised unless I reboot while docked).

It is cured by reboot, but that is not really an option.

In addition some USB flas drives are behaving oddly - plugged in, making a sound, not showing up.

I have System Update, regularly update Windows.

Anybody, any ideas?

I was having the same problem,

As time went on, reboot no longer helped, i got to the point of having to make a major change in the Hardware config to get the computer to even turn on let alone use my USB Devices..

I was told on here that it was a "SouthBridge Failure"  To fix this problem, i replaced the motherboard, and it seems to have fixed it, almost 100% .  I am having some issues random freezes since then but i think my memory might be going as i haven't replaced it since i got this laptop...
