Well the T60 was offered with a T7200, T7400 and T7600 all having an FSB at 667Mhz. Before you upgrade I think it would a good idea to consider why you are upgrading. What CPU is in your T60 currently? If upgrading from a low-end CPU an upgrade to a T7xxx would be worth it, but lets say you want to upgrade from a T7200 to a T7600 I would advice you to avoid it and save the trouble, as the performance gain would be minimal.

Re: T60 supported CPU,s

I think the T60 CPU socket is Socket M.

Re: T60 supported CPU,s

it currently runs a  T2400 processor so I think upgrading would be worth it. A bit of a stupid question but would a regular desktop version fit? or does it need to be special socketed version?
