T60P keyboard stops working

Last time I did a Thinkvantage update all kinds of things started screwing up.  sometimes I have no sound.  Sometimes (like now) I'll have NO keyboard function after a boot-up, then it will mysteriously start working again, sometimes after a day or two.  I can use an external keyboard, but what a pain.  I thnk there might be a hotkey I don't know about, and I accidently toggle it, but that's just a guess.  Your thoughts?

there is no hotkey for switching off keyboards. Do a test with this software and see what happens.
