I did a format and a fresh install of Windows 7 (32-bit) on my T60p (8743-CTO). Because there is no WIn7 driver for the ATI FireGL 5250 available from Lenovo or AMD, I let WIndows Update install its version (8.561.0.0, 12/1/2008). All seems well but when the laptop resumes from Sleep the display is always blank. Other lights and keyboard functions indicate that the system is up but nothing can make the display come on except a power cycle.
I have tried many things to resolve this, brought all available drivers and BIOS up to date, tweaked power settings, etc. I think it's probably an video driver issue. When will Lenovo be releasing a Windows 7 ATI driver for the T60p?

I would also like to know when Lenovo will release a Windows 7 compatible driver for the FireGL 5250 on my T60p ... someone please give us an update ...

Lenovo doesn't write their own GPU drivers, they just use the one from the OEM manufacturers and slightly modify them (also throughly tested to ensure maximum compatibility). Unless AMD continue to support the class of GPU in your laptop, then Lenovo can not do anything more in that regard.

Actually, I realized last night (after I made my post) that Windows Update now has the proper driver for this.
