T61 BIOS for boot from USB

Got a great T61 on Win XP SP3.

 

Which BIOS Version is required to boot my T61 via USB from a good image on my HITACHI Travelstar 7K500 HD20500 IDK/7K 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive that is housed in a CMS External Drive case?

 

I regularly back up my internal HDD via USB to the duplicate drive in the CMS housing, but would like to be able to boot up from it on occassion.

 

Thoughts would be appreciated.

Any bios version will let you select usb as a boot option. You can also select boot order if you want it to boot in any preferred order.
