T61 Boot Up Problem error message

When I boot up the computer i am getting an error message that says disc cannot be read . hit control/alt /delete to restart. Yet there is no disc in any drives, although one of the USB drive lights is on.

When I control/alt/delete the same message keeps coming up.

any one know how to fix this?

by disc it probably means DVD? if it was disk then it probably ment usb/hd.

is there a dvd/cd disc in the drive?

if its the usb thats causing it, disable it from the boot sequence (in bios)

if its the dvd-rom, try disabling that too.

let us know what comes up.
