I am having major emergency and in full-out panic mode.
Got back from lunch and my T61 screen was black. Pushing spacebar and moving mouse did not wake. I used power button to shut down.
The computer will not power up. When I push the power button the green lights appear and it acts like it is about to boot up, then I get a series of 3 beeps. One long followed by two shorts (beeeep beep beep). That is it.
I have removed battery and let set for a while, reinserted battery and gotten the same result. I have not been able to get anything to show on monitor--just three beeps when I try to boot up.
I have T61 (7662CTO) with Windows 7.
Please help!

I have reset the memory and tried booting with just one in different slots. Same result every time. Any suggestions on what to try next?
