Re: T61: PATA, SATA I or II?

[ Edited ]
I was banned for not tolerating being bullied by some hillbilly mod or his carbon copy.

I called for the ban. I had also asked for all my posts to be removed, and they weren't.

I somehow suspect all my wishes are going to be granted now :smileyvery-happy:

Banning is the ultimate form of violence on a forum, and "Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent" (Isaac Asimov)

Rather befitting a mod who could delete an entire thread, isn't it?

These files list all the products (current or withdrawn), not the files on the FTP site.

Hardly.

Careful examination of index.pdf and indexw.pdf reveals that the first line of each product section looks like this:

ThinkPad Notebooks (Version 335) tabook.pdf

or this:

Lenovo ThinkPad (2005 to present) - withdrawn ltwbook.pdf

However, if all you want is a list of the different books, look at:

Re: T61: PATA, SATA I or II?

I fear you're confusing yourself with facts Doggy. The connector for the devices in the Ultrabay is an IDE, but this has no bearing on whether the HD is SATA or PATA. There are different 2nd HD adaptors to fit either type of HD.
Regards,

James

Thanks for helping the confusion, if any on my side.

Should you have posted right away that "The connector for the devices in the Ultrabay is an IDE" , I would have asked for the thread to be closed on the spot.
