When the second Lenovo battery I bought again lasted only a year, I bought one for half the price at the local computer store. That one stopped charging after a week, so I bought another one at battery plus because I was getting on a plane to Brazil the next day. The new battery never charged. The computer works on AC power but goes out even if power's disconnected for a second (for example a jiggle of the attachment.
I live in Brazil now. What can I do?
Thanks.

Yeah, with both batteries it pops up with a message telling me I may not be using a genuine battery. It also let's me fiddle with settings and has the battery 0% thing on the bottom.
I believe they are 6 cell- the ones that do not stick out.

I think suitable measure would be to buy genuine battery in future, no doubt they're expensive, but are problem free at least...
