T61p How do I abort the ThinkVantage ImageUltra Builder setup process?

Hi,

I recently re-imaged an old computer with an old image.  It reinstalled windows and all of the drivers. However, now it reboots and forces the ImageUltra builder program to start and trys to continue the re-imaging process by installing other software and configurations.  Unfortunatly, part of this process involves logging into a server for user credentials that does not exist anymore.

Is there any way to stop THinkVantage ImageUltra Builder from launching automatically, and just starting windows normally so I can manually configure this computer?

note: I'd simply like to get it to skip the first boot sequence or all of the mapmenu programs

Re: T61p How do I abort the ThinkVantage ImageUltra Builder setup process?

This probably wont ever help anybody, but just in case, here was my solution:
In IUB, press shift-ctrl-C to get a command prompt
Browse to recovery/iub/Maps
typed notepad <mapfile>.bma
Looked for the last link variable: LINKVALUE = {long hex string}
Found a link near the beginning of the map file and modified it to the link value I found in the previous step.

THis was a total hack, but it worked. It got my basemap file to skip to the end without doing the intermediary steps that were blocking me. And the rest of the build process was automated.
