I like using Skype hands-free for voice with the built-in microphone and speakers, and I want to use the stock built-in modem (14.1" T61p) to dial certain other voice numbers.
I have used it to FAX. And I have used Phone Dialer by Microsoft and can hear voice from the other end, but I cannot speak back whether through the built-in microphone or an external one plugged-in.
Thanks for your help!
I am running on Windows 7 x64.

If the modem has voice support, so I think it's possible.

Was hoping for a bit more detail or from someone having personal experience.
Starting looking for Win 7 x64 drivers. Only find Vista x64 drivers on Lenovo's site - http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/documen
The one installed automatically by Microsoft Update works for FAX-ing and voice dialing out, where I can hear the other party but not speak back...
