Thinkpad T43 2686 DHU with windows 7 and no wireless

Where can I get drivers for my T43 2686 DHU laptop for windows 7? Im also missing audio ones as well, and the driver finder support does not have any for windows 7. Ive searched in the forums and not much information is on it, though some have gotten it to work.

Hello,

Since IBM/Lenovo stopped manufacturing the T43 long before Windows 7 was released I doubt there are any official device drivers available for it.  That said, you try running either the ThinkVantage System Update software or Microsoft Update in order to obtain whatever device drivers are available.

In some cases, you may be manually download and use Windows Vista's device drivers for the hardware devices in the T43.

your best bet is likely to be to try vista drivers when you can't find win7-specific versions. i presume you've seen the t43 driver matrix here: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?&DocID=HT035703 ?

there are a couple of vista choices for wlan, but unfortunately no listed audio drivers.
