Thinkpad t61, NVS 140M & linux

I keep getting heating issues with linux distros like opensuse and ubuntu.  Gpu temperatures would go up to 90 C and cpu would get as high as 80 C on normal use.  I'm pretty certain it's not isolated between the two.  I was wondering if anyone had a fix or if there's a more compatible distro with my laptop model.

Please check your fan is still working, I think you'd better go lenovo sevice center for check.
