Very low battery charge rate (48 hours remaining!)

Yesterday the battery meter on my T60 showed 99% and then in less than an hour it showed 8%.  I wasn't paying attention to the battery meter so I don't know how abruptly this change occurred.  Normally full charging occurs in an hour or two.  Now, the charging has been extremely slow with the battery information showing that it is drawing only .04 amps.  Battery condition is good.  I swapped an identical charger but the results were the same.  What could account for this suddenly very low charge rate?

Sounds like it could be a bad system board. I had one with the exact symptoms and all my efforts to track down the problem failed so I just replaced the board.

Before you consider that, test your battery and charger on another computer if possible, and make sure they are good.

Try another *known good* battery.

If the same or similar results are observed, you have a blown fuse on the motherboard.
