dropped T41

My T41 was dropped (don't ask!)  and now beeps and shuts down. Is there anything I can check before bringing it for repair? Thanks

make sure you reseat the ram before you send it off for repair.

reseating the ram is a good idea.   Perhaps open up the case and just make sure everything is firmly in place.  

Is there an error code shown at all?

Hold down the F1 Key when you turn it on and try to access the start up / set up functions

Do you have a bootable CD to try booting from???
