Hi people, this is my first post in this forum.
I had a lenovo working fine until the last week, it was a t61p and I really loved it, but unfortunately got the 3 beeps of the death .. (one long beep two shorts).
I had password for disk and supervisor, when I try to turn on a new laptop (another brand) with the old hard disk in order to save my data, I enter the password but it tells me it's wrong.
Anyone know how to unlock it? or can I send the disk to someplace in order to get the data back?.
Thanks for the help!

Hi angvp, welcome to the forum,
there are a few similar threads on this same subject in the boards. Basically you need a similar ThinkPad, if you can get your hands on one, and insert the drive into it in order to be able to delete the password. In T6*, R6*, X6* systems it should work without any hassle.
Once you've deleted the HDD password you'll be able to see the files on the drive using any other system.
