- how much does a T61, 15.4" with a 9 cell battery weigh?

- how much does a T61, 14.1" with a 9 cell battery weigh?

Also, what are T61p and T61i models? are they different from T61 which Lenovo sell online?

Does Lenovo sell T61p or T61i online?

I've never heard of T61i...I assume you mean R61i.

T61p ("p" stands for "performance") has a high-end nVidia graphic card as a standard, otherwise is pretty much the same as T61 with discrete graphics. It was also offered with WUXGA (1920x1200) resolution unlike standard T61.

As for what Lenovo sells online, offers and configurations differ from one country to another.

I've owned both 14" and 15.4" T61/p units, and although I've never weighed them, will tell you that there's significant weight difference between the two.

If I get a T61 (plain T61)  with a 9 cell battery it should not weigh more than your T61p, Am I correct?

14.1" widescreen:
4-cell: 2.27 kg (5.0 lb)
6-cell: 2.37 kg (5.23 lb)
7-cell: 2.43 kg (5.36 lb)

15.4" widescreen:
6-cell: 2.67 kg (5.9 lb)
9-cell: 2.86 kg (6.3 lb)
