install Windows 7 on Lenovo t60

I have a lenovo t60 core2duo 1.83ghz 2gb ram and i have Windows vista it possible to put Windows 7?

Your system should run either 32 or 64bit windows seven, but I'd recommend upgrading your ram to 3GB, which is the most your system will support. Win7 runs much better on 3 then it will on 2.

Yes it will run W7 just fine. Stay with a 32-bit version, though, especially if you don't want to upgrade the RAM.

 

It takes about 10 minutes to remove the keyboard/palmrest and swap the DIMMs, even if you've never done it before, though...

You need to have around 2GB ram and 60GB hard drive space free
