Hi,
I know that it is possible to replace my HDD with a LEnovo branded SSD but can I use a generic Crucial SSD? I only ask because I'm not sure if Lenovo use any sort of proprietory connection or if it's just a standard SATA connection?

I wish thinking of purchasing the above from Crucial, which, according to Crucial themselves, is Compatible (http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/listparts.aspx?mod
What do you guys think? As far as I can tell it should work.
Not sure if I'd need to replace my existing drive though, or if I can just use the SSD as an aditional drive (ideally I'd like to use it as an additional drive and re-install the operating system onto thr SSD and use my current SATA drive as storage and the likes)
I'd appreciate any input!
Thanks
