problem is, that this FRU is not the same as it came with my E330. And, as stated, a battery with the correct marketing number didn't work in the E330 - For me this looks like protectionism gone to far, if even legit lenovo 84+ batteries refuse to load..

Hey Perler,

Would it be crazy to suggest you try to order the battery 84+ (6 cell) from lenovo using the same FRU of the one you ordered from the third party vendor?

yes it's to late, I already ordered the original FRU part from IBM. but trust me, the 84+ battery which didn't work was a totally legit lenovo battery or a crazy perfect fake up to the last security advisory leaflet..
