Clean install on a Thinkpad Edge 13

I want to clean install windows 7 on my Thinkpad Edge.

I'm presuming the best way to do it is to use the recovery disks.

I have used the Thinkpad tools to burn recovery disks, but I can't boot from them.

I have gone into the Bios to try and change the boot order so I can boot from the DVD drive, but I can't seem to change the order (it says to press F5 and F6 to change the order but it doesn't seem to work).

Thanks for any help.

Re: Clean install on a Thinkpad Edge 13

hey hi_all,

could you visit our support page via http://support.lenovo.com and do an update of your bios and try again?

at the same time with current boot order that you have, if the first disc of your recovery disc inside the optical drive, does it boot up into recovery mode ?
