Hi eveyone
New here. Just boought a E320. I am planning to give a a boost by sticking in a ssd. I was changing out the ram when I noticed a slot above the 2.5 drive which loks a lot like the msata slot. But the specs for this laptop does not mention msata at all.
My question is: is this slot above the 2.5 drive a pci-e mini or msata slot? A quick googling told me they look the same but electrically different. I am hoping that its is a msata slot so I can stick in an ssd without taking out the 2.5 drive.
Thanks

So am I correct in assuming that this slot can work with either a pcie mini wireless card or a msata ssd?
Also, what is the difference between msata ssd and mini pcie ssd? some product descriptions set them apart but others say they are the same.
Thanks
Edit: one more question: is it running at sata2 or 3 speeds?

I use a 120GB OCZ Nocti mSATA as my boot drive and in months of use I've never had any problems.
